Games Played Bar and Bat Mitzvahs

Scooter Hockey: Is it teamwork or individual play that wins this game? Mini four-wheeled scooters, hockey sticks and cones are the props to this hi-energy, timed match-up. By far, the most exciting in DJ Doug's line-up new games. It's the Red Team versus Yellow in a quest for the championship trophy.

Quest: A fun and exciting musical scavenger hunt, which involves both kids and adults. Kids seek out silly items from the adults during the "tail" end of the meal. By process of elimination, the items get sillier as the excitement grows.

Levitation: Just how many people can you magically float in a big circle? Check out this too cool activity that will have both the kids and adults at your function amazed. Our DJ's don't know much about physics, but Levitation will be sure to please all of your guests!

Hula Hogs : A game played using hula hoops. 10 to 100 players. While music is playing kids are dancing outside the hoops. When the music stops, all the kids jump into the hoops. The idea behind the game is teamwork. Sometimes there are 15 kids inside one hula hoop.

Hats Off To You : A fast paced game played in a circle. Kids must perform a series of gestures before placing the hat on their heads and passing them to the next in line. Be careful, because if the music stops while you are in the middle of your "routine," you are out!

Human Pyramid : Kids get in teams of 8 (6 stackers and 2 spotters). In a circle of 8 players the music starts. The team spins when Doug says "SPIN." When the command "DROP" is heard, the kids drop and form a human pyramid. The team completing the pyramid first receives a point. 3 points wins the game. VERY fast paced and popular game

Bagel Lox & Cream Cheese : Kids get into pairs and forms shapes resembling a bagel when the command is given they form a lox stance with arms locked together. Cream cheese has them sitting on their partners knee. When the team messes up or falls down, they are out. Fast passed and very popular game also.

Rock and Roll Simon Says : The popular game with a rock and roll spin. Fast paced and fun, Doug give the participants many opportunities to mess up.

Mummy Wrap : Using toilet paper, props and lots of humor, it's a race against the other teams and against the clock to form the most attractive mummy and the most covered mummy. Very popular with the boys.

Over/Under : Played in two large teams, contestants pass a large nerf ball under their legs and over their teammates shoulders. The team to complete the line of kids first is the winning team.

Lip Sync Contest : Contestants choose from any song in Doug large collection to lip sync to. Adults often times join in on the fun and create their own team in the competition

Alpha Doodles : Played in teams of 5. Contestants are given 10 very large letters and 2 minutes to spell as many words as they can in those two minutes. One letter words are worth one point, two letter words two points, etc. The team to spell the most words with the most letters in this fast paced, music packed game is the winner.

In addition to the above described games, DJ Doug will entertain the kids with traditional games like Coke and Pepsi, Hoola Hoops, Limbo, Musical Chairs and more! Inventing games is a never-ending process. The games listed above are a sampling of the favorites from years past.
